Fiducia Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy covers the Fiducia browser extension and the Fiducia web application. Fiducia is a product of Omniapan AI Inc. Company-level practices — how we handle correspondence, billing, applicants, and your rights over the information we hold — are set out in the Omniapan AI Inc. privacy policy. Both apply.

What we collect

From the browser extension:

• Your email address, when you enter it to request escrow. It is stored locally in your browser and sent to Fiducia when you submit a request.
• Listing details — the item title, asking price, marketplace name, and listing URL — only for listings where you actively request escrow.
• Escrow references for transactions you have started, stored locally so the toolbar can show what is in progress.

From the Fiducia web application:

• Escrow transaction records: amounts, participants, state changes, and timestamps.
• Shipment tracking numbers and carrier delivery status.
• Payment details are handled by our payment processor. Card numbers are never transmitted to or stored on Fiducia systems.

What we do not collect

The extension does not record your browsing history. It runs only on individual marketplace listing pages, and reads nothing from the page until you interact with it. It does not read page content beyond the item title, price, and listing URL, and it collects nothing at all on listings where you do not request escrow.

There are no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics in the extension.

How we use it

Your email address is used to send you transaction notifications: escrow requests, seller responses, shipping updates, inspection deadlines, and release confirmations.

Listing details populate the escrow record and give the seller the context they need to accept or decline.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to assess creditworthiness or for any lending purpose.

Who we share it with

• The other party to your transaction. Sellers see a masked version of the buyer's email address, the item, and the amount. Buyers see the seller's response. Neither party receives the other's full contact details from us.
• Our payment processor, to move funds.
• Shipping carriers, to retrieve tracking status.
• Law enforcement and regulators, where we are legally required to respond, and in connection with the financial recordkeeping obligations that apply to escrow and payment services.

How long we keep it

Transaction records are retained for as long as applicable financial recordkeeping law requires.

Data stored locally by the extension — your email address and your list of active escrows — is removed when you uninstall the extension, or when you clear it from the extension's settings.

Security

Every escrow state change is cryptographically signed and written to an append-only audit ledger, so a transaction's history cannot be altered after the fact. Data in transit is protected with TLS. Systems are operated on infrastructure controlled by Omniapan AI Inc. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Your choices

• Uninstall the extension at any time to stop all local collection.
• Request a copy of your data, or its deletion where we are not legally required to retain it, by writing to the address below.
• Decline an escrow request. Nothing is charged to either party.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information, including rights of access, correction, deletion, and the right not to have it sold. We do not sell personal information.

Children

Fiducia is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will send notice to the email address on file.
